Over 1450 Color Photos

Included in both the book and CD editions are over 1450 full color photographs of some of the most striking, colorful and exotic organisms found in shallow waters of the tropical Pacific. Many of the species have never been illustrated before and are new to science.

The new CD edition takes advantage of the latest Adobe Acrobat technology. Users can display the electronic pages on their computer monitor and print to any B&W or color printer. Everything in the book is included on the CD but with the advantage of digital links to the reference information and photos.

Since the CD is written in a hybrid Mac/ISO 9660 format it can be used on any computer and comes complete with the Adobe Acrobat Reader V.3 and QuickTime Software.

The introductory presentation is intelligently designed, complete with detailed instructions. The highlight of the introduction is the outstanding audio/visual coral reef slide show complete with music. The picture ID page displays thumbnails of the photos accompanied by a descriptive title.
