Weeks in Raja
Ampat & Triton Bay
Aboard MSY Damai Dec 4 - Dec 18, 2010 14 nights - Departing Sorong, Return to Kaimana $4900 pp/do. Beneath the water's smooth surface you'll find massive branches of soft coral and sea fans that blanket the reef as far as the eye can see. The colorful fusiliers, anthias and damselfish energize the scene like an explosion of confetti, while swarms of batfish evade the photographers persuit. This area holds world-class photo opportunities for the muck diver too. Every nook is occupied by exotic invertebrates and are crawling with many shrimp species. Its the best of everything in one small area; Harlequim shrimp, Epaulette shark, pygmie seahoreses, juvenile everything! And this area is a hot spot for finding new species. Getting here is no simple task, yet the most descriminating travelers flock to this area to photograph the undaunting diversity and perhaps even a species that is yet to be discovered. This photo excursion is limited to eight guests only, so there will be plenty of time to work with each person one-on-one!
