Maracaibo
Another site at the South end of the island that is less often visited is Maracaibo. Depths start at 90’ and drop off at about 140’. This dive is definitely advanced and requires excellent deep water skills. The site is frequented by shark, mantas and loggerhead turtles. The very strong currents will carry you past beautiful gorgonians, elephant ear sponges and black coral. Two crabs battle for territory at about 110' |
